Electronic Arts heeft met de komst van de game Star Wars Battlefront een speciale editie van de PlayStation 4 onthuld. Deze gelimiteerde editie is volledig in de Star Wars stijl ontworpen.
De PS4-bundel is voorzien van een zwarte console met daarop Darth Vader afgebeeld. De hiervoor gebruikte console is voorzien van 500GB hardeschijf ruimte. Daarnaast is ook de DualShock 4-controller voorzien van een Star Wars jasje. De controller is net als de console zwart en bevat rode en grijze knoppen. Naast deze hardware zijn ook vier klassieke Star Wars-games aanwezig, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Super Star Wars en Star Wars: Jedi StarFighter. In de bundel is ook de aankomende game Star Wars Battlefront aanwezig.

Naast de aankondiging van de gelimiteerde editie van de PlayStation 4 toonde Electronic Arts nieuwe concept art van de nieuwe downloadbare uitbreiding: Battle of Jakku. Deze gratis uitbreiding is voor Star Wars Battlefront. In Battle of Jakku is de veldslag uit de originele filmtrilogie en de aankomende film Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens speelbaar.
